Director Norika Sefa won the award for Best National Film at the international short and documentary film festival “Dokufest” with her film “Like a Sick Yellow.”
The award ceremony on Saturday evening marked the closing of the festival, which began on August 2 in Prizren. In the Balkan films category, the award went to “Another Day” by Eneos Çarka.
The award for Best Short Documentary went to “History is Written at Night” by director Alejandro Alonso Estrella.
“A Fidai Film” by Kamal Aljafari won the award in the international films category.
The Audience Award was secured by the film “Afterwar” by Birgitte Straermoses.
This year, Dokufest celebrated its 23rd edition.
Over the nine days, 249 films were screened, of which 109 competed in 10 categories.
