A serious incident occurred last night in the north, where an armored police vehicle of the Kosovo Police crashed, falling off a bridge, resulting in injuries to eight police officers.
Following the accident, it was reported that the injured officers were taken to the hospital for medical treatment, and all of them were reported to be out of danger.
In the latest update from the Minister of Health, Arben Vitia, it was announced that of the eight injured officers, five were released to go home, while three others continue treatment at the Emergency Clinic at the University Clinical Center (QKUK).
“One will be transferred to the Orthopedics Clinic, one to the Thoracic Surgery Clinic, and one, after observation in the Emergency Clinic, is expected to be transferred to the Neurosurgery Clinic,” he said in the announcement.

Of the eight police officers injured in the accident tonight, five have been released to go home, and three remain at the Emergency Clinic at QKUK.
I visited them tonight, and the doctors informed me that their condition is stable and, for now, they are out of danger.

All staff at the General Hospital in Mitrovica and the Emergency Clinic at QKUK have been mobilized, responding quickly and professionally.
