North Macedonian Soldiers Conduct Patrols in Rahovec

Soldiers from North Macedonia’s Kinetic Battalion have carried out motorized patrols in the municipality of Rahovec over the past few days, according to a statement by NATO-led KFOR.

In a Facebook post, KFOR highlighted the efforts of the North Macedonian contingent assigned to the Western Regional Command of its mission in Kosovo.

KFOR’s Mission and Coordination

“KFOR continues to implement its mandate – based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 – to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo, as well as ensuring freedom of movement, at all times and in an impartial manner,” the statement read.

KFOR also emphasized its close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) to maintain peace and security in the region.
