Students currently blocking the Appellate Court in Novi Sad announced that the blockade will continue even after the release of two activists and Professor Marija Vasić from detention.
The blockade will persist until all arrested individuals are freed. Court employees will be allowed to work from 7 AM to 11 AM, after which the court will be completely blocked.
Earlier, it was announced that the Appellate Court partially accepted the defense’s appeal, allowing Marija Vasić, Lazar Dinić, and Lado Jovović to leave detention and be placed under house arrest, while the cases of other activists were sent back for retrial.
Radivoje Jovović, provincial assembly member from the Free Citizens Movement, called the court’s decision a partial victory and a step toward justice.
