The Organization of KLA War Veterans held a press conference today, where it discussed the October 17 protest that will take place at Skënderbej Square in the Albanian capital, Tirana, starting at 5:00 PM.
The chairman, Hysni Gucati, stated that they have received strong support from the institutions of the Albanian state.
He also announced that Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama will participate in the protest organized in support of the KLA war.
“We are expecting confirmation today or tomorrow about his speech. I don’t believe he will refuse to speak, but of course, it depends on his agenda. He told us even last night that he will take part in the October 17 protest,” Gucati told the media.
Gucati further emphasized that there is significant public support from Kosovo as well.
“I think the number of participants will be quite large. From Kosovo alone, so far, 60 buses have been confirmed,” he added.
