The institutions of the Republic of Kosovo have published the official agenda of activities marking the KLA EPIC, which will take place on March 5, 6, and 7 across several cities in the country.
The program includes solemn meetings, tributes, exhibitions, sports activities, and artistic performances in honor of the legacy of the Kosovo Liberation Army.
In a statement, the Ministry of Defence of Kosovo invited citizens to take part in the commemorative and festive activities according to the official schedule. “Let us come together to honor the sacrifice of the martyrs and celebrate the values of freedom with dignity,” the ministry said.
March 5 Agenda
The commemoration will begin on March 5 at 08:00, when the first school lesson across Kosovo will be dedicated to the KLA Epic.
At 09:00, a solemn session of the Government of Kosovo will take place, followed by solemn assemblies in municipal councils at 10:00.
At 12:00, formations of the Kosovo Security Force will line up at the Adem Jashari Barracks in Prishtina.
Later in the day, at 14:30, a nationwide women’s volleyball tournament “Adem Jashari” will be held in Skenderaj.
March 6 Agenda
Activities on March 6 will begin at 10:00 with state leaders paying tribute at the Adem Jashari Memorial Complex in Prekaz.
From 10:00 to 12:00, municipal representatives will also pay tribute at memorial complexes of fallen fighters across the country.
At 13:00, the exhibition “Three Days That Changed History” will open, organized by the Assembly of Kosovo.
In the evening, at 19:00, a commemorative academy dedicated to the KLA Epic will be held at the Palace of Youth and Sports (Red Hall), featuring performances by the Kosovo Opera and the Kosovo Philharmonic. The ceremony is expected to conclude at 21:00.
March 7 Agenda
The commemoration will conclude on March 7 with the traditional “Night of Fires” event in Prekaz, starting at 18:00.
At 18:15, torches will be lit across seven regions of Kosovo, while at 19:00 an artistic program will take place in Adem Jashari Square in Skenderaj.
Kosovo institutions have called on citizens to participate in the commemorative events, honoring one of the most significant moments in the country’s modern history.
