The press secretary of the Trump administration, Caroline Leavitt, announced that the U.S. will no longer provide military aid to Ukraine, as their priority is now peace negotiations.

The White House has stated that there will be no further aid to Ukraine.

Caroline Leavitt, the press secretary of the Trump administration, declared that the U.S. will not offer any more military assistance to Ukraine, as their focus is on peace negotiations.

This decision follows controversy during Zelensky’s visit.

“We will no longer write blank checks for a war in a very distant country without a real and lasting peace,” Leavitt said.

“It was fantastic that the cameras were rolling, because the American people and the entire world saw what President Trump and his team were dealing with behind closed doors during the negotiations with the Ukrainians,” she added.

Earlier, The Washington Post reported that the Trump administration is not ruling out halting all ongoing shipments of military aid to Ukraine, valued in the billions of dollars.
