During a police operation in the village of Rodel, Leposaviq, weapons, ammunition, military uniforms, and documents were seized. Kosovo Police Director Gazmend Hoxha, in a joint press conference with the Minister of Internal Affairs, stated that the operation is ongoing, and one individual has been taken in for questioning.
Hoxha provided details about the seized items, including a rifle, 19 pistol cartridges, a bag with 49 long gun cartridges, sniper binoculars, hunting rifle ammunition, a first aid kit, military gear, and several military bags. Among the confiscated uniforms, one was identified as belonging to the “Civil Protection” organization, which has been declared a terrorist group by the government of Kosovo.
Minister Xhelal Sveçla added that documents found in the operation confirm that the “Civil Protection” organization remains active in Kosovo.
