The Central Election Commission (CEC), at its meeting on Friday, approved the timeline of activities for the early parliamentary elections in Kosovo, scheduled for 28 December 2025.
According to the CEC, the election campaign for political entities will last only 12 days — from 17 December to 28 December.
Meanwhile, the certification period for political parties will run from 24 to 30 November, and unlike previous elections, this process will consist of two phases:
• Certification of political entities
• Certification of candidate lists
Political parties must also declare their pre-election coalitions within the same timeframe — 24 to 30 November.

The CEC emphasized that all procedures will be implemented in full accordance with the law and that election institutions have already begun preparations for the 28 December vote.
