Milorad Dodik has openly intervened in Kosovo’s elections, publicly endorsing Srpska Lista and urging Kosovo Serbs to vote for the party in the December 28 elections.
Dodik — a politician sanctioned by the United States and widely known for denying the authority of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s courts and state institutions — has now shifted his political focus toward Kosovo.
From Bosnia and Herzegovina, a country that continues to restrict visa-free movement for Kosovo citizens partly due to political blockages in which Dodik plays a role, he issued a public call via Facebook, directly addressing Serbs in Kosovo.
“I call on all Serbs in Kosovo to participate in the elections on December 28 and to vote for Srpska Lista, because only a strong and united Serbian voice can protect the rights, security, and future of our people in Kosovo. Unity is our strength, now more than ever,” Dodik wrote.
His statement represents direct political interference in Kosovo’s democratic process, raising concerns about external influence, regional destabilization, and coordinated political pressure ahead of the vote.
