The Kosovo Police has announced that an operation is underway in four northern municipalities.
According to the announcement, the aim of the police operation is to establish order and legality and to halt activities in five locations that have been used as illegal municipal offices.
This operation was initiated at the request of the Ministry of Local Government Administration.
“The Kosovo Police, based on the request of the Ministry of Local Government Administration, in cooperation and coordination with the relevant institutions of Kosovo and justice bodies, is conducting a police operation in four municipalities in northern Kosovo. The objective of the police operation is to establish order and legality and to stop activities in five locations that have been used as illegal municipal offices, which are in violation of the constitutional legal order. The police operation is ongoing, and additional information will be provided after the completion of the operation,” the announcement states.
