The latest analysis by Opta, published by Sky Sports, has predicted the final standings for the 2025/26 Premier League season.
According to their projections, Arsenal will be crowned champions of England with 80 points, leaving behind Manchester City and Liverpool, who are both expected to finish with 69 points each.
The top four is completed by Chelsea, with 60 points, securing a place in the Champions League, while Aston Villa, also with 60 points, ranks fifth. One of the biggest surprises in Opta’s prediction is Bournemouth, expected to finish sixth with 59 points, ahead of Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur.
In the lower half of the table, Manchester United is projected to finish 10th with 57 points, while Brighton and Brentford are placed in mid-table positions.
The three relegated teams, according to Opta’s analysis, are Nottingham Forest, West Ham United, and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Opta’s forecast is based on an in-depth analysis of data, player performances, and statistical trends—but it remains to be seen whether reality on the pitch will follow this predicted scenario.
