The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, today received the credentials of the new Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to Kosovo, Borut Blaj.
During the meeting, President Osmani welcomed Ambassador Blaj to Kosovo and congratulated him on his new appointment, emphasizing her readiness to work closely to further strengthen relations between the two countries.
President Osmani highlighted the excellent bilateral relations between Kosovo and Slovenia, built on shared values, mutual respect, and reciprocal support. In this context, she thanked Slovenia for its continued support, including backing Kosovo’s Euro-Atlantic path and membership in international organizations.
Furthermore, during the meeting, President Osmani noted Slovenia’s role as one of the initiators of the Brdo-Brijuni Process and stressed the importance that Kosovo places on this format as a platform for regional dialogue, stability, and European perspective for the Western Balkans.
