The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has congratulated judoka Laura Fazliu on her remarkable achievement at the Senior World Championship taking place in Budapest, where she secured a bronze medal, Rks News reports.

In a post on social media platform X, Osmani praised Fazliu’s performance, calling her a symbol of dedication, talent, and the strength of Kosovar sport.

“Laura Fazliu shone at the Senior World Championship in Budapest, winning the bronze medal in an extraordinary competition!” wrote the President.

She emphasized that Laura “has shown the power of our sport and the spirit of our girls who never give up,” adding that she “continues to carry the flag of Kosovo high in the world’s biggest arenas.”

President Osmani also extended special thanks to the team behind Laura’s success:

“A special thanks to her coaches, the legends Driton Kuka and Majlinda Kelmendi, for their tireless work and dedication to the new generation of champions.”
