As Kosovo marks the 27th anniversary of the Kosovo Liberation Army (UÇK) Epopee, President Vjosa Osmani and Prime Minister Albin Kurti will participate in the ceremonial alignment of the Kosovo Security Force (FSK) units on March 5.
According to the Presidency, the ceremony will take place at the “Adem Jashari” Barracks in Prishtina at 12:00. Earlier in the day, at 10:00, the Kosovo Government will hold a solemn session in honor of the occasion.
Commemorative activities will also be held in municipal assemblies across Kosovo, and schools will dedicate the first lesson of the day to the Epopee. On March 6, state leaders will pay homage in Prekaz, followed by a memorial gathering in Prishtina. The commemoration will conclude on March 7 with the traditional “Night of Fires” in Prekaz and an artistic program in Skenderaj.
