In her speech at the joint session of the Kosovo and Albania Parliaments, President Vjosa Osmani emphasized the need for greater cooperation and more frequent coordination between the two countries.

She highlighted that both Kosovo and Albania must work together to build stronger ties and strengthen their coordination, with each country playing its part in achieving this goal.

“Each of us must play our role in advancing the vision of our states and citizens within the European family of nations. The deep connection between us is rooted in history, in countless sacrifices, and in a shared vision for the future. This bond is not just symbolic; it is an unbreakable foundation upon which we must build greater cooperation and more frequent coordination,” said President Osmani.

She further stated that Kosovo and Albania are not only two independent states but inseparable parts of a greater nation, united by a glorious history and a bright future that is being built day by day.

Osmani also underlined the critical role of parliaments in advancing bilateral relations, expressing her belief that their joint efforts are key to the success of both nations on the path forward.

The President congratulated Albania on its successful negotiations with the European Union, stressing that Kosovo, as always, remains unwavering in its commitment to EU membership.

“EU integration is not just a political goal but a reflection of what we represent as nations,” Osmani concluded.
