On March 7th, President Vjosa Osmani sent her heartfelt wishes for Teachers’ Day, acknowledging teachers as the pillars of society who shape the minds and hearts of the nation. In her message, Osmani reflected on the establishment of the first Albanian school in Korça in 1887, a courageous act by patriots who understood that without language and knowledge, there could be no successful nation.

“Today, schools are more than just educational institutions – they are fortresses where the future is built. Teachers remain the backbone of society, shaping minds and hearts. On this day, we honor all teachers – those who taught us the first letters and those who continue to teach the new generations. Respect, gratitude, and humility before their noble mission,” Osmani stated.
