President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, marked Thanksgiving Day by joining American soldiers stationed at Camp Bondsteel, expressing deep gratitude for their decades-long commitment to Kosovo’s peace and security.
Sharing photos from the Thanksgiving lunch, Osmani emphasized that U.S. troops have always stood by Kosovo—“in our hardest days and in our best days.”
“Happy Thanksgiving!
American soldiers have always been by Kosovo’s side, in the most difficult moments and in the brightest days for our people.
Today, on Thanksgiving, I had the honor of joining them once again at Camp Bondsteel to express our gratitude for their contribution to peace and security in Kosovo and beyond,” she wrote.
Thanksgiving is celebrated annually in the United States on the last Thursday of November, emphasizing family, togetherness, and gratitude—values warmly reflected in today’s gesture at Bondsteel.
