Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has announced that she intends to run again for the presidency.
She confirmed her plans in an interview with Radio Free Europe, emphasizing that she awaits the formation of new institutions after the elections before fully launching her campaign.
Osmani stated that she will engage in discussions with various political actors to secure the necessary support for her candidacy.
She also stressed that she will continue her political work even if she is not elected for a second term, underlining her commitment to public service and the interests of the state.
During the interview, the president commented on relations with acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti, Kosovo’s foreign policy, relations with the United States under President Donald Trump, and the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.
Osmani also addressed the implementation of agreements reached between the two countries, highlighting their importance for regional stability and the advancement of Kosovo’s international position.
