Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has extended her congratulations to the Ashkali community on the occasion of Ashkali Community Day.
In a statement, the Presidency emphasized that “in the mosaic of the identity of the Republic of Kosovo, the Ashkali community holds a special place, with its traditions, language, culture, and rich heritage that have made our country more diverse.”
The statement further noted that “the cultural heritage of the Ashkali is an inseparable part of Kosovo’s history.”
On this occasion, the Presidency reaffirmed its commitment to building a Kosovo where every community feels equal and respected.
“On this day, we reaffirm our dedication to a Kosovo where every community feels equal and respected. Kosovo’s strength lies precisely in its diversity, in the interweaving of traditions, in mutual respect, and in a shared future with dignity for all,” the statement reads.
