The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has congratulated citizens on the occasion of Kosovo’s Independence Day.
Following the flag-raising ceremony, she emphasized that today citizens come together to celebrate and to honor those who sacrificed everything for Kosovo’s freedom.
“I congratulate all citizens of Kosovo on the 18th anniversary of our sovereign and independent state. It is a day when we unite, first and foremost, to celebrate this anniversary of our young state, which is now entering a stage of maturity, and at the same time we come together to remember all those who sacrificed everything so that we can enjoy our state today,” the President said.
“Long live the Republic of Kosovo,” Osmani concluded her speech.
