The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has traveled to Hungary to participate in the summit of the leaders of the European Political Community.

The Presidency has announced that this meeting will bring together leaders from 47 countries across the continent.

“The next meeting of the European Political Community will gather leaders from 47 states from all over the continent in Budapest,” the statement reads.

Osmani and other leaders will discuss the security challenges in Europe caused by the war in Ukraine, the escalating crisis in the Middle East, migration challenges, and economic issues.

She will participate in two plenary sessions of the EPC and deliver two speeches—one during the plenary session and another in the working table on economic security.

As part of the summit, the Presidency announced that Osmani will hold bilateral meetings with other European leaders.

She will also meet with the Albanian diaspora in Hungary.

“The European Political Community is a platform for European leaders to discuss the key issues facing the continent, from security and migration to economic stability and the environment. Launched in 2022, the EPC aims to strengthen political and economic ties across Europe, provide solutions to shared challenges, and deepen cooperation between EU and non-EU countries,” the statement concludes.
