The president of the country, Vjosa Osmani, said that at the summit of leaders of the Brdo-Brione process held in Tivat, Montenegro, she stressed that the EU’s unfair measures against Kosovo are hurting the people.
Osmani said that EU support should go where there is a real commitment to European integration, not to Putin’s satellites, alluding to our neighbor, Serbia.
“At the summit of the leaders of the Brdo-Brione process in Tivat, I stressed that the EU’s unfair measures against Kosovo are directly harming the people of Kosovo, despite the fact that the Republic of Kosovo is 100% aligned with the EU’s foreign and security policy,”he said.
“The EU’s support should go where there is a real commitment to European integration, to democracy, the rule of law and Human Rights, and not to Putin’s satellites who are actively working towards destabilizing our entire region,” Osmani said, according to Reuters Klankosova.tv.
The European Union imposed restrictive measures on Kosovo last year, following the events that took place in the north of the country in May 2023
