Kosovo’s President Vjosa Osmani hosted a meeting with the leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj, as part of efforts to overcome the political deadlock that has stalled the constitution of the new legislative term of the Kosovo Assembly.
This marks the second round of meetings President Osmani is holding with political leaders following the recent elections. While the initial consultations were held in a joint format, these latest meetings are being conducted separately with each party leader.
Earlier today, President Osmani also met with the leaders of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) and the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK).
The primary objective of these meetings is to achieve a political consensus for the constitution of the Assembly and the formation of new institutions, in accordance with constitutional deadlines and the recent judgment of the Constitutional Court.
