The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani Sadriu, has been honored with the prestigious Faithful and Meritorious Medal for Service to Country by the Governor-General of Antigua and Barbuda, Sir Dr. Rodney Williams, under the authorization of King Charles III.
In a solemn ceremony, the Governor-General of Antigua and Barbuda, Sir Dr. Rodney Williams, awarded President Osmani for her courageous leadership and outstanding contribution to advancing peace, democracy, and the empowerment of women in leadership.
He described President Osmani as “an inspiring example of contemporary leadership and an unwavering voice for justice and equality on the international stage.”
Sir Dr. Rodney Williams also emphasized: “President Osmani’s vision and integrity have transcended her country’s borders, touching the hearts and consciences of many people worldwide, especially women and girls.”
President Osmani called this honor a recognition for the people of Kosovo, stating: “This decoration is for my people, who have always stood with dignity and determination in defense of freedom.”
The official Faithful and Meritorious Medal for Service to Country is one of the highest state decorations of Antigua and Barbuda, awarded to individuals with exceptional merits in service to the nation and a significant impact on the advancement of universal values.
