The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, currently attending the European Political Community summit in Budapest, emphasized in her meeting with Luxembourg’s Prime Minister, Luc Frieden, the need for support for Kosovo’s Council of Europe membership, the removal of EU-imposed measures against Kosovo, and an accelerated path for Kosovo’s membership in the European Union.

In a Facebook post, Osmani stated that Kosovo and Luxembourg share a mutual commitment to strengthen their relationship and open new chapters of cooperation.

“Kosovo and Luxembourg share a mutual commitment to strengthen their relationship and open new chapters of cooperation. During the meeting with Prime Minister Luc Frieden, I emphasized the need for support in securing Council of Europe membership, lifting EU measures against Kosovo, and expediting Kosovo’s EU membership based on merit,” Osmani wrote on Facebook.

While at the summit in Budapest, President Osmani also held meetings with leaders from various countries.
