During her visit to the United States, President of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani met in New York with the Secretary General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit.
Osmani stated that in this meeting she emphasized the importance of cooperation between Kosovo and the Arab League.
“I underlined the importance of cooperation between Kosovo and the Arab League, as well as the need for support in the process of recognition of Kosovo by member states of this organization that have not yet taken this step,” Osmani wrote.
The head of state will also participate in the United Nations General Assembly in New York, which begins next week and will run until the end of September.
