Kosovo’s President Vjosa Osmani today attended the inauguration of the memorial in Vrellë, Istog, marking the Liberation Day of Istog.
In her speech, President Osmani expressed deep reverence for the martyrs of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), valuing their priceless sacrifice for the freedom enjoyed today.
“On Istog Liberation Day, I bow with honor before the martyrs of the Kosovo Liberation Army, the most dignified sons and daughters of our nation, who sacrificed for the freedom we enjoy today,” Osmani wrote on her Facebook profile.
She emphasized the significance of the memorial in Vrellë, Istog, calling it a place of remembrance, a foundation of our state, and a symbol of sacrifice that will never be forgotten.
“Eternal glory to our martyrs!” President Osmani concluded in her post.
