Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani hosted the Foreign Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković, today in Pristina. The visit takes place during the International Forum for Women, Peace and Security, being held in the capital on June 2–3.
President Osmani praised Konaković’s participation as a strong signal of commitment to regional dialogue, cooperation, and shared responsibility for peace and stability.
“This important visit underlines the significance of dialogue and cooperation for peace and stability in the region,” Osmani wrote on X (formerly Twitter), accompanied by the flags of Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Diplomatic Cooperation Aimed at Regional Stability
Minister Konaković’s visit comes at a time when Western Balkan countries face common challenges related to security, EU integration, and economic development. Both parties emphasized the importance of enhancing diplomatic collaboration as a pathway to building a more stable and integrated region.
Focus on Women, Peace and Security
The forum brings together political leaders, diplomats, and civil society representatives to discuss the critical role of women in peacebuilding and security initiatives throughout the region and beyond. Konaković’s presence reinforces Bosnia’s commitment to these values.
