The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, today hosted a meeting with the Head of EULEX, Giovanni Pietro Barbano.
During the meeting, recent developments in the fields of security and the rule of law were discussed. President Osmani reaffirmed the commitment of Kosovo’s institutions to ensuring law and order, as well as advancing democratic standards.
The interlocutors also discussed cooperation between the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and EULEX, emphasizing the importance of continuous coordination in strengthening the rule of law.
Both sides additionally assessed their close cooperation in advancing the agenda on women, peace, and security, as well as the implementation of the standards of the Istanbul Convention, aimed at protecting human rights and empowering the role of women in society.
