While visiting Berlin, President of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani met on Friday with German lawmakers Johannes Volkmann and Roderich Kiesewetter, as well as Mark Speich, Secretary General of the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung.

The meetings, held separately with each representative, focused on bilateral cooperation between Kosovo and Germany.

“I reaffirmed Kosovo’s commitment to a closer partnership with Germany, ranging from security and defense to economic development and innovation,” Osmani stated.

She also discussed recent developments in Kosovo and the wider region in interviews with Politico and Deutsche Welle.

Yesterday, Osmani also held a meeting with German students at Humboldt University of Berlin, where she spoke about Kosovo’s path toward European Union integration and addressed concerns regarding the northern neighbor, describing it as an extended arm of Russia.
