Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani met with the European Union’s High Representative, Kaja Kallas, during her stay in Brussels, where she expressed gratitude for the EU’s continued support for Kosovo’s European integration.
During the meeting, President Osmani stressed that the recently announced partial lifting of restrictive measures is not sufficient, underlining that all measures against Kosovo should be fully removed.
According to Osmani, Kosovo has fulfilled all conditions set by the European Union, and therefore there is no justification for maintaining any remaining restrictions.
Commitment to Continued Cooperation
The President emphasized that Kosovo will continue close cooperation with High Representative Kallas and international partners until the complete removal of EU measures is achieved.
She reiterated Kosovo’s commitment to constructive dialogue, democratic governance, and alignment with European values, noting that the full lifting of measures would send a clear and positive signal regarding Kosovo’s EU path.
