Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani met today with the Chargé d’Affaires of the United States in Kosovo, Anu Prattipati, during which they discussed Kosovo’s potential membership in the Peace Board and recent developments in the country.
“In this context, President Osmani emphasized that aligning the Republic of Kosovo with the United States of America has always been the right and strategic decision. She highlighted that Kosovo trusts the leadership of President Trump and remains ready to make a concrete and responsible contribution to international efforts aimed at maintaining peace, stability, and security,” the statement reads.
The communication also notes that Osmani and Prattipati “exchanged views on a range of important issues within the framework of bilateral cooperation, as well as on the President’s international agenda for the coming months.”
