Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani continued her official visit to Washington D.C., where she has been meeting with members of Congress in the Senate and the House of Representatives.
Today, Osmani announced that she had met with Republican Senator Ted Cruz, with whom she discussed strengthening the partnership between Kosovo and the United States, according to Express.
She emphasized that the United States remains a vital ally for Kosovo.
“The focus of my meeting with Senator Cruz was on strengthening the partnership between Kosovo and the U.S., addressing our shared challenges, and exchanging ideas for cooperation in areas of mutual interest,” Osmani wrote.
“The United States remains a vital ally for Kosovo, and we are grateful for Senator Cruz’s unwavering support and commitment to our shared values and vision,” Osmani added.
