President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, met today with the British Ambassador to Kosovo, Jonathan Hargreaves.
According to an official statement, the meeting focused on recent political developments in the country and preparations for the upcoming early elections.
During the meeting, President Osmani reiterated the importance of ensuring a smooth electoral process and adhering to the highest democratic standards.
“President Osmani reaffirmed the Republic of Kosovo’s commitment to advancing bilateral cooperation with the United Kingdom, particularly in the areas of security, defense, economy, trade, and human rights. She also expressed gratitude for the UK’s continued support for Kosovo and its citizens,” the statement read.
The discussions also touched upon preparations to advance Osmani’s initiative for a strategic agreement with the United Kingdom, as previously discussed with the UK Foreign Secretary during his visit to Kosovo.
