Osmani Meets with Barduani at KFOR Headquarters, Discusses Security Challenges

The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, met with the Commander of KFOR, Major General Enrico Barduani, as part of her ongoing commitment to strengthening partnerships with NATO.

On behalf of the citizens of Kosovo, Osmani expressed gratitude for NATO’s mission in Kosovo, which has played a significant role for over two decades in maintaining peace and stability.

According to a media statement, during the meeting, Osmani emphasized that, given the security challenges, close cooperation and international partnership are necessary to ensure peace and stability in the country, region, and beyond.

Furthermore, the President stressed the importance of a joint commitment to protecting the values of peace and security, highlighting that international cohesion is crucial in addressing global challenges.

At the invitation of Major General Barduani, a working lunch was held at the KFOR headquarters.

“The meeting with Major General Barduani is part of President Osmani’s continuous effort to strengthen relations with international partners and promote security and stability as a prerequisite for the development of Kosovo and the region,” the statement concluded.”
