The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, met with the Executive Director of the Institute for War Crimes, Atdhe Hetemi.
According to President Osmani, the research of war crimes, crimes against humanity, genocide, torture, and other related crimes, is of crucial importance to be documented, archived, and ensured that the truth is protected for the purpose of achieving justice. Additionally, it must be preserved and serve future generations.
“The work of the Institute is of historic importance for us as a nation and as a state,” emphasized President Osmani, highlighting the necessity of close cooperation between the Institute for War Crimes (IKKL) and local and international institutions.
During the meeting, the Executive Director of IKKL handed over the Institute’s Annual Report to President Osmani. The President reiterated the unwavering support of the Presidency for the Institute for War Crimes.
