The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, today received in a meeting the Chargé d’Affaires of the United States of America, Ms. Anu Prattipati.
During the meeting, they discussed the conduct of the parliamentary elections and the fulfillment of the highest democratic standards, which were highly commended by both sides. Emphasizing the importance of the swift constitution of institutions, the need was reiterated for this process to be carried out in full accordance with the Constitution.
President Osmani and Ms. Prattipati also exchanged views on a number of important issues related to bilateral cooperation. On this occasion, President Osmani reaffirmed Kosovo’s steadfast commitment to advancing side by side with the United States, in the spirit of mutual trust, shared values, and close coordination in strategic processes.
On behalf of the President of the United States, Donald Trump, and the First Lady, Melania Trump, Ms. Prattipati conveyed New Year’s greetings to President Osmani and the First Gentleman.
