Kosovo’s President Vjosa Osmani spoke about her relationship with acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti, stressing that during her mandate there have been no differences in their stance regarding Serbia.
“During these five years that I have been president and Kurti prime minister, we have not had a single disagreement on the position that Kosovo must be defended from [Serbian President Aleksandar] Vučić, from Serbia, and from their proxies in Kosovo. This has never divided us – we have always been on the same line. It should be said that Vetëvendosje (VV) has agreed with the president. We will always be close and cooperate to protect Kosovo from Serbia,” Osmani stated at a press conference.
Addressing questions about a possible second presidential term, Osmani noted that the decision will be made “at the right time,” adding that media pressure has only pushed her to “work harder.”
