President Vjosa Osmani announced that she had the pleasure of welcoming the head of state of Antigua and Barbuda, Sir Rodney Errey Lawrence Williams, the Governor-General.
In a Facebook post, she shared that they discussed a range of issues of mutual interest to both countries.
“I expressed deep gratitude for the recognition that his country gave to Kosovo in 2015, an act that strengthened our international position and demonstrated principled support for our statehood.”
“We discussed deepening bilateral cooperation in fields of common interest as well as support for Kosovo within the CARICOM community,” Osmani wrote.
She added that this meeting represents an important step toward a stronger partnership between the two countries.
