The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, traveled to Washington D.C. at the invitation of the US Secretary of State, Anton Blinken.
Osmani will participate in the activity organized by the US Department of State for Women, Peace and Security, which is held within the framework of the NATO Summit, on the 75th anniversary of the founding of the military organization, the Office of the Presidency has announced.
Osmani has emphasized that Kosovo’s involvement in such activities is of special importance, since it is the first time that Kosovo is involved in events within the framework of the NATO summit.
“Kosovo’s involvement in the activity organized by Secretary Blinken dedicated to the Agenda for Women, Peace and Security is a strong indicator of the growing role that Kosovo is playing in the advancement of this agenda at the global level and its commitment to the principles and values supported by NATO”, writes the Office of the Presidency.
