Osmani Represents Kosovo at the EPC Summit in Tirana, Co-Chairs Security and Migration Roundtable

President Vjosa Osmani is representing the Republic of Kosovo at the 6th European Political Community (EPC) Summit, held this year in Tirana. The event gathers 45 European leaders, including representatives from European Union institutions, reports Rks News.

According to the Presidency’s announcement, President Osmani will be welcomed by Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama and will participate in both main sessions of the summit. Afterwards, she will co-chair the leaders’ roundtable titled “An Open Europe with Secure Borders,” alongside Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković.

“This leaders’ roundtable will address security challenges across the continent and opportunities related to migration and mobility, with special emphasis on empowering youth and leveraging the potential of the diaspora as a driver for economic development and stability. The roundtable co-chaired by President Osmani will include participation from leaders across Europe, including the prime ministers of Italy, Austria, Hungary, Belgium, among others,” the Presidency’s statement reads.

As part of the summit, President Osmani will also hold bilateral meetings with other European leaders.
