President Vjosa Osmani hosted a meeting today with the German Ambassador to Kosovo, Jorn Rohde, to discuss the latest political developments in the country.
According to a press release from the Presidency, the main topic was the constitution of institutions and the implications of its failure on other important processes for Kosovo.
“During the discussion, possibilities for further deepening bilateral relations between Kosovo and Germany were also addressed, in light of a new government in Germany, as well as joint engagement in various fields of mutual interest,” the Presidency stated.
President Osmani thanked Germany for its continuous support to Kosovo, reaffirming her readiness to further deepen cooperation for the benefit of both countries.
Tomorrow, the 37th attempt to constitute the Assembly of Kosovo is scheduled. Vetëvendosje’s candidate for the position of Speaker remains Albulena Haxhiu, a name that continues to be opposed by other parties.
