Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani signed the condolence book for the late 39th U.S. President Jimmy Carter, who passed away on December 30. The book was opened at the U.S. Embassy in Pristina.
In a statement issued by the Presidency, Osmani expressed her deepest condolences to the Carter family and the American people, stating: “On behalf of the people of the Republic of Kosovo, I extend my sincere condolences to the Carter family and the American people on the passing of President Jimmy Carter.”

Osmani highlighted Carter’s unwavering commitment to peace, human rights, and justice, noting that his work inspired generations of leaders around the world. She emphasized that his dedication to service reminds everyone that true leadership is not about power but about humanism, integrity, and protecting causes that matter.
“Kosovo will always honor his legacy as a champion for freedom, integrity, and dignity. His example should continue to guide us all, and his legacy is a blessing to all those who fight for a better and more just world,” Osmani wrote.
