President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, is currently on a state visit to Switzerland, where she met with President of the Swiss Confederation, Karin Keller-Sutter, at the official residence of the Federal Council in Lohn Manor.
In a Facebook post, President Osmani expressed her gratitude for the warm welcome and highlighted the importance of the relationship between Kosovo and Switzerland:
“Thank you for the hospitality, friendship, and honor, President Keller-Sutter! 🇽🇰🇨🇭
This first state visit to Switzerland, which begins at the official residence of the Swiss Federal Council, is proof that together we are writing a new chapter in the history of partnership between our states and peoples!”, wrote Osmani.
The state visit is expected to include further meetings with high-level officials, as well as a gathering with the Albanian diaspora in Geneva, underscoring Switzerland’s importance as a long-standing partner and supporter of Kosovo’s development.
