During the ceremonial march of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) and the Kosovo Police marking Kosovo’s 17th Independence anniversary, President Vjosa Osmani highlighted the nation’s fight for freedom and state-building.
“Our freedom is sacred, and protecting it is a lifelong duty. Thanks to our army and police, we have defended every inch of our state,” Osmani stated.
She emphasized the sacrifices made across generations and honored the courage of Kosovo’s security forces, who stand ready to protect the country at all costs.
Osmani also expressed gratitude to Kosovo’s international allies:
“Our history would not be the same without the support of our allies. We will never forget the help of the U.S., NATO, European states, and all our friends. Kosovo has allies, and the friends of Kosovo are the friends of freedom.”
