President Vjosa Osmani has confirmed that she will travel to Washington, D.C., on February 19 to participate in the first meeting of the Peace Board, an international initiative that now includes Kosovo.

“We are truly proud to join President Trump, the United States, and other allies in this international organization, which was founded in Davos, and now holds its inaugural meeting in Washington, where I will represent the Republic of Kosovo,” Osmani said in an interview with Kanal10.

Regarding the meeting, Osmani noted that some countries will formalize their support, while others express commitment that will be concretized over time. She also highlighted several positive developments, including support for Kosovo’s NATO membership, describing it as the result of close collaboration with the Trump administration.

This support, Osmani added, is reflected in the letter sent by President Trump on the 18th anniversary of Kosovo’s independence.
