President of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani once again made it clear to Aleksandar Vučić that Kosovo has never in its history attacked or executed anyone. Following the Brdo-Brijuni Summit held in Albania, Osmani said that, as in previous meetings, Vučić addressed the summit with insults and arrogance, attempting to disrupt the event.

However, Osmani emphasized that Kosovo had strong legal and moral arguments, reaffirming that the country supports regional cooperation while firmly defending its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

“As in previous Brdo-Brijuni meetings—perhaps even more so this time—Vučić of Serbia addressed the summit with insults and arrogance, trying to disrupt the meeting. But in the end, we managed to approve the joint declaration unanimously. For every piece of propaganda Vučić tried to present to the participants, the Republic of Kosovo had strong arguments—arguments on the side of justice, reinforced by international law and the opinion of the International Court of Justice,” Osmani said.

She further noted:

“Kosovo supports regional cooperation, but at the same time, we will always defend our national interests, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. Even though Vučić complained about our joint defense pact with Albania and Croatia, we reaffirmed together that this cooperation is meant for our protection. My response to him was clear: throughout our history as a people, we have never attacked or occupied anyone—we have only defended ourselves, and we will continue to defend our country and territorial integrity.”

In conclusion, Osmani stressed that Kosovo remains committed to regional cooperation, but will continue to safeguard its sovereignty and state interests.
