Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani, in an interview with the Polish TV channel “TVP,” stated that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic is a master of propaganda. She noted that through his propaganda, Vučić is trying to make the West believe that he is sitting “between two chairs,” but in reality, he has chosen to sit in Russia’s chair.

“Vučić has used propaganda as his main tool for decades. When Milošević waged wars in Croatia, Bosnia, and Kosovo, he appointed a person as Minister of Propaganda – Vučić. Out of the entire former Yugoslavia, he chose Vučić as the Minister of Propaganda during wartime. Vučić, the man who is now President of Serbia, is the best at propaganda. He has used it to convince the West that he is sitting between two chairs. But he is not in the middle; he is in Russia’s chair. The rest is acting, based on experience. He is now also using propaganda against his own people,” Osmani said.

Osmani was also asked whether she believes the situation in Serbia, amid mass protests, could impact Kosovo.

“When Vučić faces difficulties in his own country, he tries to cause problems in Bosnia, Kosovo, and other areas. He then uses the nationalist card… He will attempt to divert attention, but we are ready to protect our country and neutralize any aggression he might contemplate,” Osmani said.
