Osmani Welcomes Thailand’s New Ambassador, Highlights Strengthening of Diplomatic Ties

President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, officially received the letters of credence from the new non-resident Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand, Phrommes Bhaholpolbhayuhasen, in a meeting that underscored the commitment to deepen bilateral relations, reports RKS News.

During the ceremony, President Osmani warmly welcomed the ambassador and emphasized the importance of enhancing the friendly relations between Kosovo and Thailand.

Osmani described the partnership as one built on shared values, recalling her 2022 visit to Thailand to mark the 10th anniversary of diplomatic ties — a milestone that helped solidify and expand cooperation between the two countries.

Ambassador Bhaholpolbhayuhasen expressed readiness to work on advancing bilateral cooperation, while Osmani praised Thailand’s recent decision to lift visa requirements for Kosovar citizens, calling it a significant step toward increasing economic and cultural exchange.

At the conclusion of the meeting, President Osmani reaffirmed Kosovo’s institutional commitment to further developing relations with the Kingdom of Thailand, based on partnership and mutual respect.
